Steve Jobs action figure? WTF?!

January 3rd, 2012 by Marc Comments

Just three months after Steve Jobs passed away, a pair of toy companies have unveiled an action-figure of the late Apple CEO.

Called the iCEO mini, it’s a 12-inch action figure made in his likeness.

Toy companies in icons and Dragon in Dream unveiled a Steve Jobs action figure yesterday, just three months after the Apple CEO’s death, as a tribute to the man who gave the world the Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod.

Poor taste: Late Apple CEO Steve Jobs has been immortalised as an action-figure
High price tag: The ‘toys’ are retailing at $99.99
The figure features Jobs’ trademark black turtleneck, jeans and sandshoes.

These publicity photos feature a miniature Mac, iPhone and iPad, but the accessories will not be included with the $99.99 figure which will be reeased in February.

However, Apple or Jobs’s family might yet try to block the use of Jobs’ likeness, as in 2010 when a company called MIC Gadget attempted to sell Jobs figures on eBay….
