The Exorcist to become ten-part TV series

May 25th, 2012 by bash Comments

The Exorcist is to be turned into a TV series, it has been confirmed.

Sean Durkin, the writer-director of last year’s Martha Marcy May Marlene, is adapting the horror classic into a ten-episode series.

Unlike the iconic 1973 film, Durkin’s version of The Exorcist follows the events leading up to a demonic possession and especially the after-effects of how a family copes with it.

The original Exorcist was adapted from William Peter Blatty’s best seller.

No word yet on what network we can expect to see the finished product.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
