The Justice League is coming to the big screen… probably. Well, maybe….

OK, it makes sense that a big screen Wonder Woman is coming… but seriously? They turned down Joss Whedon’s treatment a few years ago, but they think this is a good idea?

Michael Goldenberg, who co-wrote last year’s less than impressive Green Lantern,  has been hired to write Wonder Woman. This comes from Variety who also are reporting that The Green Lantern is also being considered for a sequel, and that  Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green are writing a Flash screenplay for Greg Berlanti to possibly direct.
So, Superman is being rebooted, The Flash, Wonderwoman and Green Lantern may have the big screen ahead and Nolan’s Batman is coming to a close as the reboot rumour mill continues…
Yes, you guessed it… the Justice League movie is back on track. Again!
In no small part (we imagine) due to the success of The Avengers, DC are now pushing to get their Justice League up and running, however rumours of the plan of attack differ. Some sources say they will start the whole thing off after Snyder’s Man Of Steel and go right into the Justice League movie, then spin-off each character into their own little franchises, other sources say the opposite is true, with the Marvel approach being employed; individual movies then a superhero team-up at the end.
Now, don’t get us wrong, we want to see this, but it needs to be done right, with respect, a good cast and even better writing, otherwise there’s no point.
Marvel have raised the bar, can DC match it? Only time will tell…
