Indonesian Martial Arts epic, the Raid has been given a 24 Sep 12 release date in the EU for DVD and Blu-Ray. So if you missed it at the cinema, you can pre-order it now from all of your favourite retailers.
The Raid is my favourite film of 2012 so far. It blends perfectly executed martial arts with a constant pace. It has been described as Die Hard meets Ong Bak, but I like to think of it as a modern day 300. The storyline is simple and to the point, but the action is brutal, constant and easy to follow.
A Hollywood remake is already in the works, with the director Gareth Evans onboard as a producer and the two stars, Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian both down as fight choreographers.
