UPDATE: The Walking Dead’s Travis Love has a role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot?

May 30th, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr 1 Comment

According to S.H.I.E.L.D TV, Travis Love who played the Governor’s mostly silent and deadly archer in season three of The Walking Dead, is in Joss Whedon’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot as Tony Masters.

Don’t recognize the name?

Well, Masters was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent whose photographic memory meant that he could watch and duplicate the movements of someone with little to no effort. It was this ability that led him to become the mercenary known as Taskmaster a villain who has held his own against the likes of Captain America, Daredevil, Spider-Man and Deadpool. The Taskmaster is often hired as a training instructor by various criminal organizations, S.H.I.E.L.D and even the U.S. government.

How cool would it be for Taskmaster to be part of this show?

Update: ABC has officially denied this. It seems to have started at IMDB.

That’s awesome news, I wonder if he will have his hooded outfit or if they’ll just put him in a SHIELD uniform.
I hope he starts out as a rogue agent that they have to bring in, I don’t want to see him in the background teaching pretty agents how to fight.
