HBO has renewed True Blood for a seventh season.
The show is currently halfway through its 10-episode sixth season.
The series has gone through a bit of a change this year as creator Alan Ball stepped down as showrunner following season five, handing the reins over to new showrunner Mark Hudis —who himself was replaced halfway through production by current showrunner Brian Buckner, who will remain onboard for season seven.
