WATCH: First trailer for Ashton Kutcher’s Jobs

June 22nd, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

The first trailer forAshton Kutcher‘s Steve Jobs biopic Jobs is finally here. As you can tell by the trailer below the drama will revolve around the genius’ break away from the establishment, and the rise and fall and rise again arc of his time bringing Apple’s technological innovations to the world. Nobody has ever accused Hollywood of letting the facts get in the way of a good story, as evidenced by the tagline “It only takes one person to start a revolution.” Because you know, it took two, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.

As always Hollywood being what is, Aaron Sorkin is currently writing a Steve Jobs biopic as well.

“We follow Steve Jobs (ASHTON KUTCHER) from the enthusiasm and self-discovery of his youth through his darkest days, brightest triumphs, and the ultimate power of his drive, his passions, and his undying will to change everything we thought possible. Dark, honest, and uncompromising, “Jobs” plunges into the depths of Steve Jobs’ character, uncovering his driving motivations, his gifts, his flaws, his failures, and his ultimate successes.”

The supporting cast includes James Woods, Dermot Mulroney, Luke Haas, J.K. Simmons, Matthew Modine and Josh Gad (1600 Penn) as Jobs’ friend and partner, Steve Wozniak.

The movie was directed by Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote) and the script was written by newcomer Matt Whiteley

Jobs comes out on August 16th, 2013.
