Tune in live Thursday from 9pm est

Watch the new Prometheus trailer live and be in with a chance to put questions to Ridley Scott!

March 7th, 2012 by Marc Comments

We at FTN are rather giddy thinking about Prometheus. Scott playing in the Alien toybox he created all those years ago again? Exploring the origins of arguably the greatest monster in sci-fi and one of the top ten greatest sci-fi and/or horror movies of all time. What’s not to be excited about?!

But while we’ve had a teasing glance thanks to the teaser (posted below), on March 17th Scott will debut the FULL trailer and give a  30-minute Q&A conducted by writer/producer Damon Lindelof afterwards at  the AMC Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California.

Now, if like us, you’re now feeling a little down because you can’t afford it, can’t go, live on the other side of the planet, then cheer up… all is not lost.

Firstly, head over here to submit your question to Ridley. Then during the event go here, here & here to watch the trailer and Q&A LIVE! Nice, huh?

So until the movie opens on June 8th, we’ll be lurking above waiting (im)patiently for the trailer… see you all there

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
