Will 2015 be dubbed ‘Superhero Summer’?

October 19th, 2012 by bash Comments

The LA Times are reporting that DC are to release a Justice League movie in the summer of 2015, the same time that Avengers 2 comes to cinema screens.

While there is yet to be a director attached, the movie does have a screenplay from Will Beall with the hero lineup including, at least, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Flash.

The newspaper said that the studio had wanted Christopher Nolan to produce the team-up, but that he declined. Nolan is currently serving as producer on the upcoming Man of Steel, and while there’s no official confirmation as of yet, it is widely believed that Henry Cavill will play Superman in the Justice League feature.

Once the movie is released then DC plan to make a number of spin-off movies for its characters – the opposite to what Marvel have done with the Avengers.

Hi all. I'm Bash and love anything and everything to do with Star Wars. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games from other genres and franchises since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
