Fans of Tron Legacy will be pleased to know that work on a sequel is well underway.
According to Legacy writers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, a first draft of a sequel has been handed in.
“We’ve had a lot of meetings and conversations and we’ve seen the first draft of the Tron sequel,” Kitsis told io9. “Sometimes movies don’t happen as quickly as you want… Our hope is to get something going sooner [rather than later].”
Both writers also offered a tease about the potential return of Jeff Bridges’ Kevin Flynn.
“I would say the definition of life and death in the digital realm…” began Horowitz.
“…will be explored in the sequel.” finished Kitsis.
