X-Men sequel will be a ‘big sci-fi’ movie

Mark Millar has spoken to SFX magazine (via Total Film) about the forthcoming X-Men prequel sequel Days of Future Past.

Working with Marvel as a creative consultant, Millar said director Matthew Vaughn was going for a “big sci-fi style thing”.

“It’s X-Men meets The Terminator, You’ve got robots, you’ve got time travel, you’ve got superheroes – it’s got everything in one film,” he said.

Already speculation is mounting online about what this could mean. Will we see some Sentinels finally be making their way to the big screen? Only time will tell.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is earmarked for release on July 18, 2014.

Hi all. I'm Bash, I'm 33, and I became a nerd when I first saw Star Wars as a child. Although I've watched hundreds of movies, read dozens of books and played numerous computer games since, nothing has come close to seeing George Lucas' epic for the very first time. At Following the Nerd, I'm Marc's right hand man and can be heard every Thursday trying to be funny on our radio show. I hope you all like the site and come back often.
