Zeno Clash Gets a Sequel

June 4th, 2012 by Crowbar Comments

ATLUS is in collaboration with ACE Team, developer of titles such as Rock of Ages and Zeno Clash has unveiled that coming in 2013 Zeno Clash 2 will be arriving on Steam, PS3, and Xbox 360. Zeno Clash 2 promises to be a game like none other with a unique visual design and a one-of-a-kind first person brawler. The sequel to Zeno Clash will be bigger, bolder and better in every way.

With an open world waiting to be explored Zeno Clash 2 looks to outdo the original game. As Ghat, players can reely explore every natural and architectural wonder that the new game offers. Characters, enemies, and items will retrun for the sequel in stunning visual quality. In addition to the oldies making an appearence Ghat will encounter new enemies that he has never encountered.

The game is not relying purely on visual eye candy. Zeno Clash 2 promises to redefine its predecessor’s gameplay. There is a lack of first-person brawlers out there but maybe Zeno Clash 2 will change all of that. The player will pinpoint control over what enemy they are attacking. Everything is better with RPG elements right? New funtions such as leveling up will allow Ghat to punch harder and take more punishment.

Quite possibly one of the better elements of co-op is the ability to drop in and out with your friends. Zeno Clash 2 will have drop in/out online co-op. Ghat can be joined by his sister Rimat in battling past the angry denizens hell bent on stopping them from accomplishing their goal.

“The world of Zenozoik is one of wild dreams and wilder nightmares,” says Andres Bordeu. ” “This is part of the reason we are working on Zeno Clash II, to give players the opportunity to explore Zenozoik with a friend via online cooperative multiplayer, turning those moments of wonder and awe into a shared adventure. We will make certain that going back and forth between solo and cooperative play preserves the consistency and impact of the narrative experience, while still allowing friends easily drop in and out of the game’s fulfilling exploration and visceral melee combat.”

Zeno Clash 2 is scheduled for release in early 2013 on XBLA, PSN, and Steam. For more information,
