Amazing Spider-man 2 has its Harry Osborn…

December 3rd, 2012 by Marc 1 Comment

It looks like the Amazing Spider-man 2’s cast is filling out nicely with Harry Osborn joining the cast of characters…

While the casting was going mad a while back (here), the role of Harry has been filled… and it goes to Chronicle star Dane Dehaan. Harry is Peter Parker’s best friend and son of Norman Oxborn, owner of Oscorp and one day the Green Goblin, so there’s a lot of baggage with the role…

Dehaan joins returning actors Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-man and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy as wel as Jamie Foxx as Electro.

Dehaan’s casting certainly has us excited here at FTN as Chronicle was such as great entry into the superhero genre, that said, he isn’t quite the physical type we envisioned Harry as being. But, since the first movie is loved so much here at FTN HQ, we’re excited to see the direction director Marc Webb takes the now trilogy…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….

  1. That’s a really sound choice IMO.
