We have all heard that the Justice League movie was coming. We have all heard that The Man Of Steel would tie into it. But we haven’t heard anything from anyone official until now. Sort of.
MoS director Zack Snyder, but according to the New York Post, he’s has answered a few questions about the role, if any, his take on Superman would paly in the lead up to a Justice League movie.
Snyder, talking about the movie, said: “I don’t know how ‘Justice League’ is going to be handled. Honestly, I don’t. But ‘The Man of Steel’ exists, and Superman is in it. I don’t know how you’d move forward without acknowledging that.”
Talking directly about a League movie and would he be involved: “How can I answer that? I can’t really say anything to that, because that’s a big spoiler. I will say, yeah, they trust me to keep them on course.”
Finally, on the chances of a Man of Steel sequel: “We approach the film as a single endeavor. There are a lot of gears that have to turn in the world of commerce and the world of the mythology we create to facilitate more adventures for this character. We’ll see what happens.”
So is Man of Steel the first step in the path leading to the Justice League? Does this mean Nolan’s Batman and Reynolds’ Green Lantern are officially NOT tied in? We’ll all know when Man of Steel hits on June 14 2013…
