Could this be the plot for the Justice League movie?

It looks like Warner Brothers wants to take the Justice League in an ambitious direction. According to website Latino Review, writer Will Beale is looking to Justice League issues #183-185 for his inspiration for the planned 2015 Justice League movie. Now this story arc features the New Gods as well as the Justice Society of Earth-2, but I have a feeling that Beale won’t be over complicating things with all these additional characters as this movie would serve as an introduction to the main Justice League team, including the JSA and the New Gods would just be too much for casual viewers to wrap their heads around.

Latino Review broke it down as “…the three issue story arc involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that’ll move Apokolips (the planet that Darkseid rules) into Earth’s place.” Now this is a very scaled down version of the plot synopsis for #183-185, but it would also serve as a great base for the Justice League movie.

We already reported earlier that Warners was looking to insert Darkseid as the main villain in the movie, going for that Thanos look and feel, but this may give us some clue as to what he’ll be up to. I was already hooked at Darkseid, but I’m also hoping that we may get a good look at Apokolips and the many baddies that Darkseid lords over such as Granny Goodness (don’t let the name fool you.). If this story pans out we could be in for a very epic Justice League movie.
