Lobo has been stuck in comicbook movie hell for years, but can he finally smell what The Rock is shovelling?

The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, has confirmed that he will be playing Lobo.
Speaking on Twitter, he stated: Rumors of me possibly playing LOBO are true. Joel Silver and Brad Peyton are working on it now. That could be fun.. ‪#RockTalk‬
Lobo, for those who may be unfamiliar with the character, is a fringe creation in the DC universe. Lobo is basically an intergalactic bounty hunterand was the created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen in the 1980s.
Warner Bros. have signed up Brad Peyton to direct. With no script details as yet, this is one comic film that may have cult status already stamped all over it on it…
