Get ready for the new daily show

Is it a bird, is it a plane? No, it’s the Man of Steel teaser…

It meant to be attached to all the copies of The Dark Knight Rises this weekend, but sadly a lot of the UK prints didn’t have it, no matter, for your viewing pleasure, here is The Man Of Steel trailer…

Yes, we all know Zack Snyder is directing the new Superman movie and Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan is producing, but up until now we really had no idea what to expect.
And it must be said that, given Snyder’s previous efforts (Sucker Punch, Watchmen) we were expecting a very polished, slow motion filled movie, however, we weren’t expecting this.
Grey and real, this looks more in tune with what Nolan gave us with his Batman movies… is there something to this? Is there something we haven’t been told regarding Batman’s relationship to this new Superman movie? We have a few theories, but since not everyone has seen The Dark Knight Rises yet, we’ll not share them. That’s for another day, meanwhile, have a look and let us know your thoughts…

Pa Kent Voice-over (Kevin Costner)

Jor-El Voice-over (Russell Crowe)

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
