Ok, that’s not exactly what’s happening. But…it’s been confirmed via Metro that Daniel Craig has nabbed a role on Star Wars Episode 7.
To be clear though, it’s not a starring, or supporting role. In fact, Craig’s face won’t even be seen. According to an insider:
“Daniel is close friends with JJ Abrams. He asked for some sort of secret cameo role – and was happy to have his name left off the posters. Fans will love playing the guessing game trying to work out which covered-up character is Daniel.”
So essentially, it’s like what Nathan Fillion did in Guardians of the Galaxy, or what Stephen Colbert did in Desolation of Smaug. It’s still cool though!
Hopefully we’ll get more little tidbits about this and other Star Wars things as we draw closer to it’s release in December 2015.
