It seems that Hawkeye’s path in the movie was not to everyone’s delight… at first
Actor Jeremy Renner has spoken about playing Hawkeye in the Avengers movie.
He was reportedly disappointed to be playing an evil version of himself rather then the master archer we saw at the movie’s climax, but he admits that there were a whole lot of characters in the movie to be established.
For us at FTN everyone got their moment to shine and Renner effectively got a lot more to do then some of the others due to the two versions he played.
We thought this road to redemption – after being returned to normal thanks to Black Widow - was as strong as any of the big names, if not more so.
He really stood out as a character to watch rather than be pushed into the background by the likes of Hulk or Iron Man.
Whether or not there will be a spin-off Hawkeye movie, we’ll just have to wait and see…
