OK, we know some of you love the new Transformers movies – Bayformers if you will – and some of you hate them (I love them and make no apology for it) and I know that opinions on Michael Bay vary just as widely, but this is a shocker…
Micheal Bay, who has just returned to Hong Kong to film more on Transformers: Age of Extinction was attacked, according to Superhero Hype, onset. According to a police spokeswoman: “two brothers approached Bay and demanded money, for what reason is unkown. As the discussion ensued, one of the brothers assaulted Bay and then fought three police officers that attempted to intervene.”
It appears that the younger of the two was arrested on “suspicion of blackmail and assault,” with the older brother being arrested for “suspicion of assault.”
Reports suggest that Bay was injured on the right side of his face but turned aay offers of help and immediately continued to film…
Say what you want about the man and his work, but we’re glad he’s ok…
