Well, the question of who takes what side in Captain America Civil War has been answered…

Jeremy Renner has posted new images and concept art on his Twitter page and it looks like we know who will be fighting who come next May.

We also get a good look at the new Hawkeye outfit… and is that Ant-man? And why does Black Panther seem to have picked sides too?

The new images show Ant-Man, played by Paul Rudd; Sharon Carter, aka Agent 13, played by Emily VanCamp; Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie; and Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan, standing with Captain America. The art also features the characters siding with Tony Stark, including Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson; Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman; War Machine, played by Don Cheadle; and the Vision, played by Paul Bettany.

Captain America: Civil War is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. It is set to feature the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, this time joined in his “solo” film by fellow Avengers Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. Sebastian Stan will also be back as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier alongside Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Martin Freeman in a mystery role. Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6, 2016. CNbo5STWIAAxayt.jpg-large

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
