Avatar was a massive success and the announcement of a sequel was not really a surprise, but a trilogy was a bit unexpected.. imagine how shocked we were when we heard there was another one too.Four in all? Seems not though.
Despite James Cameron saying he was filming Avatar 2, 3 and 4, producer Jon Landau has said that there will be no fourth Avatar movie.
They are working on the next two back-to-back with a targeted release date of December 2014 and December 2015 respectively.
