Two awesome fan-art images of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn from BossLogic Inc have gone online… we love the hint of the red and blu under her eyes.

And the bubblegum. Yeah, we love the bubblegum.

Ok and spot the easter eggs in her outfit…

So far we got:

Jacket: Covered in J – as in Mr J
Shirt: Daddy’s L’il Monster
Neck: Puddin’
Baseball Bat: Good Night (we think)
Under her top: That’s definitely a pic of the classic comic book Joker…

In other Harley news, Bruce Timm, co-creator of Harley in Batman: The Animated Series (along with Bruce Timm) has given his thoughts on what we’re seeing:

“It’s interesting. It’s weird. Myself — being somebody who’s taken characters that pre-exist and putting my own spin on them in my own little universe — I’m very aware of how when a character that I necessarily created shows up in other media that they have to adapt it and do different things with it than I would do. So I’m very open to it to see what they’re going to do. I’m actually really excited.

“I just today, just before the show started, saw the first image of Harley Quinn from the Suicide Squad movie, and I thought ‘Woah. She looks actually pretty cute!’ I was actually kind of worried I thought ‘Oh, she’s going to look really, really bizarre and skanky’ but nah, she’s not too bad. So I’m often mistaken.”

The co-creator’s seal of approval? That’ll do for us…

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as The Joker, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. It arrives in theatres August 5th, 2016

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
