UK top ten box office countdown (WE 14 December, 2012)

December 12th, 2012 by Stuart Miller Comments

It seems that a game of leap frog is happening with the chart as this is the second week that a older film has gone to the top of the chart knocking last week’s number one, Skyfall, off the top spot.

Only one new film entered this week’s chart, going straight into the number three spot was Seven Psychopaths which has done slightly better than thought of it.

Like I said above, there is a new number one in the form of Rise of the Guardians which entered last week’s chart at number three only for it to rise this week.

10. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted – £138.553 – £21.925.195
9. End of Watch – £143.674 – £1.668.261
8. Argo – £216.892 – £4.925.327
7. Great Expectations – £339.375 – £1.356.923
6. Silver Lining Playbook – £446.324 – £3.606.760
5. Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger – £966.400 – £4.376.499
4. Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 2 – £980.190 – £33.384.110
3. Seven Psychopaths – (NE) – £1.121.679
2. Skyfall – £1.428.708 – £96.333.036
1. Rise of the Guardians – £1.602.689 – £4.062.292

New Releases: Now do I have to even say what the only film of note that is out this week? Do I have to? Oh ok then, the only film of note out this week is… The Hobbit.
