With it being a very strange week for new films as two on the big screen at the moment are still in preview mode, Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie didn’t have very much challenge, so it has managed to hold on to the top spot for a second week.
The only new film in this week’s chart went to the Melissa McCarthy starring comedy Tammy which went in at a low fifth spot and taking under £500,000.
New Releases – Finally, How to Train Your Dragon 2’s takings from England and Wales can be fully included in the chart after it has been on previews for two weeks.
The other big release of the week is Transformers: Age of Extinction which has been on previews for six days so when it is counted in next week’s chart it should easily go straight to the top of the chart as early indications are showing that it took £4.7 million from only two days of its preview six days.
