WATCH: Leaked Deadpool footage is pretty wonderful and very NSFW

July 28th, 2014 by Marc 1 Comment

This footage shows Ryan Reynolds as everyone’s favourite anti-hero Deadpool. Fox have been teasing a movie for a while and, if it’s like this then it’s going to be wonderful! But will an R rated version ever happen?

The footage, according to Comicbookmovie is from 2012: “The Merc with a Mouth’s creator, Rob Liefeld, revealed that director Tim Miller, who signed on to helm the solo adaptation back in 2011, had developed test footage with his visual effects company Blur Studio. This footage was also seen by the film’s screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who both confirmed Ryan Reynolds had performed the motion-capture and provided Deadpool’s voice. Two years later, some of that footage has finally made its way online.”

This is beautiful; exactly what a Deadpool movie should be, violent, nuts, funny and chaotic and Reynolds, for the record, had nailed it…

Check out creator Rob Liefeld talking about it back in 2013 over at Ed’s Pool

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
