Who’re you going to call?

There just could be some life left in the old ghost yet!

Director Ivan Reitman, along with writers and stars of the films Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd, have been trying to develop the movie for the past few years.

However, earlier reports revealed that Bill Murray, star of the original 1984 hit, had turned down Ramis and Aykroyd’s script.

Meanwhile Sigourney Weaver, who played the love interest to Murray in the first movie, recently said that she will not return to the material without Murray on board.

Chatting to WGNTV about baseball, mainly, Murray was asked straight out whether Ghostbusters 3 was something he was going to be involved with.

“It’s a possibility”, he said, declining the chance to shut the possibility down, before quickly moving on to talk about other things.

… nothing concrete, I know, but a slim chance is better than no chance at all!

Jay says that he is a writer, martial artist, sketcher, and dreamer but mostly just a husband and father. Since getting married to the wonderful and patient woman of his dreams, and becoming a father (of two young boys), he has fallen into the category of 'lapsed nerd' as he is a former RPer, Live Role-Player, and comic book junkie. Science fiction and fantasy books are the staple of his shelves - both in terms of books and movies ... however, he's never seen Star Wars (any of them) but please don't hold that against him! He is currently trying to find a medical cure for the thing called sleep, as it is interferring with the thing he calls life. If you want to know more about him go to www.jayfaulkner.com
