Is this the picture of a ghost girl?

June 19th, 2012 by Val 1 Comment

Who is the ghostly girl in the burning building?

In 1677 it appears a fire destroyed much of the town of Shroppshire, England and killed the young girl, Jane Churm, who was said to have set fire to an old thatched roof with a candle – quite accidentally. Legend has it her ghost has haunted the area for centuries, having been seen by different witnesses.
Could the girl be Jane Chum?
Neither O’Rahilly nor any of the other onlookers or firefighters recalled seeing the girl there, and further examination of the negative proved the ghost picture to be authentic and not tampered with. No girl was reported missing after the fire, either.
This is one of FTN’s favourite ghostly pictures… enjoy

This is terrible reporting and mostly not even your own work. Not only is this a proven hoax but your writing is half plagiarized from a source that details the hoax and it’s origins. Who is O’Rahilly? A quick google search found the article this is copied from. Shame on you.
It’s bad enough that folk believe in this stuff, but to only report a portion of the facts, in spite of evidence to the contrary…
