Dropzone Commander’s Website Goes Live.

June 7th, 2012 by Mad Dave Comments

Hawk Wargames have announced their site goes live tomorrow afternoon and you will beable to pre-order many of the Dropzone Commander goodies as well as see plenty of previews of miniatures and rules.

Here’s the press release from Hawk Wargames.

Hawk Wargames will launch its website and accept pre-orders for Dropzone Commander tomorrow afternoon, Friday 8th June. Keep an eye on facebook and twitter for up-to-date information.

Following the launch, David Lewis, Director of Hawk Wargames, will be available for live discussion about the rules and miniatures via the company’s facebook page between 9 am and 9 pm on Monday 11th June. This will be a great opportunity for gamers to ask questions not answered on the site – something not to be missed!

Hawk Wargames thanks everyone for their support and patience and is very pleased to announce the launch of its products, something which has been eagerly anticipated since Salute! 2012. The website will contain a wealth of information and images for all four launch fractions for Dropzone Commander, as well as rules information, FAQ’s etc. Hawk Wargames will also be adding more content to this section in particular over the coming weeks.

Pre-orders of products will be possible from Friday 8th June, to ship from us on Monday, July 23rd, subject to availability. We cannot guarantee that orders placed after July 9th will ship on the specified date. Be sure to place orders early to avoid disappointment!

Thanks again for the fantastic support and encouragement we’ve received from the gaming community!

I'm Mad Dave one of the team's growing collection of tabletop gaming nerds. I was raised on a healthy diet of TV like Blake 7, Doctor Who and Star Trek with a side of sword and sorcery / sc-fi movies and a large dollop of board games like Cluedo, RISK and Hero Quest. You know your a gaming nerd if: You bring toy soldiers to work? You bring toy soldiers to work and you work has nothing to do with toy soldiers? Most of you jackets / coats have dice in one of the pockets? You hate throwing away packaging because you know it's actually a ruined building or field generator? You have a collection of old packaging? You can find something relevant to your hobby i.e. books, magazines, figures etc in almost every room in your house? I no I'm a nerd because I've done all of the above, how many of these made you smile and nod yes to?
