Help make Dreadball a reality…

September 1st, 2012 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Good Afternoon Sports Fans……DreadBall goes live.

Mantic have announced their own Futuristic slug fest in the form of Dread Ball. The Kickstarter campaign has gone live today, and it looks the game will be released after the funding period.

The pictures filtering through, like the one above, of the game look awesome, and the miniatures are painted by the superb Golem Painting Studio led by Mr Tommie Soule, and are up to their usual excellent standard.

The game essentially seems like a miniatures version of a retro computer classic called Speedball, now this isn’t set in stone as we haven’t had sight of the rules yet, but we will review them when we get our hands on a copy.

Mantic have had great success in launching stand alone games away from their mass battle rule sets and I am sure this will be no different, so this should do very well.

Have any of our followers got any more information on this new offering from Mantic Games? Let us know in the usual way!
