War Room Release Moved to Mid-May

April 25, 2012 – Seattle, WA. Privateer Press® and TinkerHouse Games™ today

announced that War Room™, the first official utility app for the WARMACHINE®

and HORDES™ tabletop miniatures games, is now set for a mid-May release. The

additional production time was allotted in response to the higher resolution

capacity of the new iPad 3, which requires changes to the app to ensure full

compatibility.

In addition, the option to add reinforcements was added to the list of

army-building features to accommodate requests from the player community.

“We want War Room to be available to as many of our players as possible, so

we decided it was best to include compatibility with the new device at

launch,” said William Shick, Director of Business for Privateer Press. “We

also took the opportunity to add a popular list-building feature requested

by our players. At the end of the day, we want to ensure War Room meets our

highest standards for quality when it releases and is as polished as the
