Well, another New York Toy Fair has been and gone and, as a massive Ghostbusters fan, I learned one thing… this is going to be another expensive year for me. And many other people.

First up, we reported a few weeks back that McFarlane Toys seemed to be bringing out a set of figures based around the Stranger Things kids’ appearance in Ghostbusters outfits in season 2 and lo’, here they are:

Next up, we knew that Diamond Select’s second series of Ghostbusters figures would feature The Real Ghostbusters later in the series and now, you guessed it, we have a new look at Ray, Peter, Egon and Winston as well as Slimer and ,Yes!, Mr Staypuft too (Continues after pics and video:

Series 7 (Spring 2018):

  • Janosz Poha (comes with Baby Oscar)
  • Dr. Egon Spengler (dark suit, Santa hat, additional accessories)
  • Winston Zeddemore (tan suit, slime blower, subway zombie head)

Series 8 (Summer 2018):

  • Dr. Ray Stantz (slime blower, interchangeable possessed head)
  • Winston Zeddemore (dark suit, Santa hat, additional accessories)
  • Dr. Peter Venkman (dark suit, Santa hat, additional accessories)

Series 9 (Summer 2018):

  • Dr. Egon Spengler
  • Winston Zeddemore
  • Slimer (with interchangeable expressions)

Series 10 (Fall 2018):

  • Dr. Peter Venkman
  • Dr. Ray Stantz
  • Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

And if that’s not enough, how about some Vinyls?

So, there you have it GB fans, you better get saving because there’s a lot of fantastic shopping to be done this year!

Who you gonna call?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
