Series 6 of True Blood will be cut to 10 episodes.
Alan Ball has said it is to accommodate Anna Paquin’s pregnancy. She is due to give birth to twins with husband Stephen Moyer who plays Bill Compton in the series with her (the couple are pictured above).
Ball said that as her due date is November production will be moved to January resulting in the shorter run.
