For the record, this isn’t anything but wishful thinking. The president of CW, Mark Pedowitz, has stated that he would want a new Star Trek TV series to be on the CW.

“As a life-long Star Trek fan, I would hope to have Star Trek at The CW,” Pedowitz told press at the TCA winter press tour. “[But] I have heard no discussion about it going out as a TV series at all.”

This is not the first rumblings of people wanting a new Star Trek series on TV. The last one was Enterprise, which was on UPN/CW during its time. Again, this is not a rumor of a possible new show, just a desire by a very, VERY, powerful fan. However, it should be noted that with the 50th anniversary coming in 2016, there may be discussion on making this happen…

Just to note, we had originally written Stark Trek in our heading – we apologise for the confusion.

That said…

It works for us…
