We we all know it’s coming, but we still don’t want to admit. Be we have to.
Fringe has announced its final air date – January 18, 2013. And it will be a two-hour finale. It will also be the 1ooth episode. So it all worked out well. Except for the fans. But we all know that all good things must come to an end.
Series creator J.J. Abrams weighs says: “It has been an absolute honor to have been a part of the weird and wonderful world of Fringe. I will always owe the cast and crew for pouring their hearts and souls into every dimension of this series.”
Sadly, Fringe has almost always struggled with the viewing figures, but thanks to a wonderful concept, loveable performances – we’re dreading the Walter Bishop sized void in our lives after January – and passionate fandom, Fringe was allowed to end on its own terms. What that will be in anyone’s guess, but w’ll all be on the safa that night…
