It isn’t even here yet but the release dates and plans for the DVD and Blu ray releases of series 7 have been announced.

As with last year’s releases, due to the split in episodes, episodes 1-5 of the new series – starting with Asylum of the Daleks and leading to the final adventure for the Ponds will hit on November 13, while the next batch of 8 episodes will be out in the spring. Now that is interesting as since it’s a spring release; exactly when will they be transmitted as it’s always round about Easter time before BBC begins transmitting?

These dates may be subject to change and, as always, there will be a complete boxset to follow. And already the image of Matt Smith carrying Amy amid Dalek fire has become iconic and will hopefully be the new cover. Stay Tuned.
