When season 2 of the Green Lantern kicks off in September there will be a new but familiar face added to the cast. TV Guide is reporting that season 2 will see Hal Jordan returning to Earth only to discover he’s been replaced as the Green Lantern of sector 2814…by Guy Gardner.
Diedrich Bader( The Drew Carey Show, Napoleon Dynamite) will provide the voice of Guy Gardner, who according to series producer Giancarlo Volpe is, “Like Hal cranked up to level 10. He’s that much cockier, more brash and a womanizer.” Pretty much sounds like the Guy Gardner we are all familiar with.
Also making his debut in the DC animated universe will be the Anti-Monitor, the villain of the Crisis On Infinite Earths and herald of the Sinestro Corp. This means we could see some major comic story arcs playing out in season 2. All I can say is, this sounds like it will be awesome!!!
