Ok, so Arrow Season 2 (which comes out tomorrow) introduced a LOT of characters from the DCU. Not the least of which was the Suicide Squad, who has been confirmed to return for Season 3. The interesting part though, was that we “met” one Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn. She had a tease and a throwaway line, and the potential to return. But she never did…or did she?
Apparently, in a delete scene on the upcoming Season 2 release, we see Harley in full, and she has more than one line. It’s unclear which episode she comes out to play in, but odds are it’s in “Unthinkable” when Diggle releases the Squad to get to Waller.
Now, we’ve already heard from Marc Guggenheim that WB “may” have plans for Harley Quinn, which might be why this scene was cut. Or was it simply that it wasn’t a necessary scene to the episode? Time will tell, and with the Suicide Squad returning in Season 3, we may just see Harley once more.
