Is The Marvel Movie Universe Coming To Primetime?

July 29th, 2012 by Christopher Williams 1 Comment

We are serously concerned of over-saturation of Marvel at this stage…

The folks at Marvel-TV are in talks with network ABC to develop a drama set in the Marvel Movie Universe. Deadline is reporting that show would be a light bridge to the Avengers movie, though none of the Avengers themselves may appear.

One idea being kicked around is a highly stylized cop show, though nothing is set in stone as the whole concept is being described as “a kernel of an idea”. There’s also the Hulk series which has been floating around for a while with nothing coming to fruition as of yet.

Though I pretty much loathe any new shows about doctors, lawyers and cops I would definitely be intrigued by a show based around SHIELD and it’s agents which would be perfect for the police show idea.

So what do you awesome Nerd Followers think? Would you like to see a Marvel show in primetime that doesn’t feature any major Marvel players? Sound off below in the comments.
