It’s all change for the Doctor this Christmas as he even seems to have uploaded a new desktop for the Tardis…

As the countdown continues to this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special, the first glimpse of the new Tardis interior has been released. It seems the Doctor’s grief over the Pond’s has seen him rid himself of all the things he had when he was with them; his costume, his sense of adventure and now the Tardis interior itself but then again it is said a change is as good as a rest.

What the image shows is a return to the Gallifreyan influence with symbols above the console itself in the main light. Could it also be the Doctor is suffering from grief over the Time War too, despite having seemingly gotten over it?
