July 29th, 2012 by Marc Comments

It was announced last week that Russell Crowe may dawn the vampire’s cape in a new movie version of Dracula’s story, and now it seems, a new TV version is coming too…

Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been named as Dracula in a new upcoming ten-part series which will see Dracula arrive in 1890s London eager to modern science to Victorian London.
But he has a plan to take vengeance on certain individuals but will he flounder when he falls in love?
And what exactly does he mean by new scientific advances?
Are they bogus or will he use them to help spread vampirism to an unsuspecting populace?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
