Yes, the very lovely Sofia Vergara is set to play the love interest of (are you serious – ed) Peter Griffin in the new series of Family Guy! Yes, The Modern Family actress will cameo as Peter’s fantasy lover. She will also play a rose selling woman in a restaurant where Quagmire is attempting to ‘woo’ Peter so he’ll agree to do him a favour.
And, not finished in the McFarlane-verse, the actress will pop up in the companion show, The Cleveland Show, as a character (below) called Tia Sofia, who wants to help Cleveland throw a quinceañera for Cleveland Jr’s birthday.
She’s in good comapny this year as Family Guy‘s 11th season will also feature Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Elizabeth Banks, and Kellan Lutz and will kick off in September. The Cleveland Show season 4 will start on October 7th and will feature recurring star Kanye West, along with Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, will.i.a.m, and ?uestlove.
