Former Bond star Roger Moore has expressed an interest in a Doctor Who role!
In 2009, Moore spoke up about his Bond colleague Timothy Dalton’s role as Rassilon in The End of Time, suggesting that if they ever needed someone to play his Dad, they should call him. Recently, Moore has approached Mark Gatiss on Twitter and suggested he’d enjoy a role in Doctor Who, or Gatiss and Moffat’s Sherlock.
It all began when Mark complimented Roger on his role in ‘The Man Who Haunted Himself’. Roger quickly tweeted back that he’d be equally wonderful in a Doctor Who or Sherlock role. Understandably, Gatiss assured the legendary Bond man that he’d be in touch.
If this were to happen, it would mean two Bond stars have appeared in Doctor Who, leaving the door open for Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan and George Lazenby to *hopefully* follow.
