Daryl Dixon himself, Norman Reedus, has hinted that the finale of Season 5 of The Walking Dead is going to be devastating. Aren’t they all?

On the Entertainment Tonight show (below) Reedus said of the special extended episode: “bring your Kleenex, and you’ll be screaming at your television.”

Now, while it may be a stretch, could Reedus himself be checking out? Dixon is probably the most loved character on the show, so killing him off would be a devastating blow and would surely raise viewing figures. But is it necessary? And could the show continue without him without the risk of losing some viewers? Who know. What we do know is that, when it comes to Daryl, all bets are off.

Oh, and just to throw fuel on the fire, here’s the official episode description:

The Walking Dead’s season five finale will be an extended 90-minute episode airing March 29 at 9 p.m., AMC announced Wednesday. In the finale, Daryl finds himself in trouble while out on the run. Meanwhile, in Alexandria, Rick and his group continue to feel like outsiders as danger lurks near the gates.

What do you all think? Will Dixon check out? If not, who is on the block next? We’ll all know at the end of the month…

Just throwing this on though… could it be Negan?
