“Didn’t get many pre-orders ay?”

For people like myself who are not the biggest fans of EA, it’s annoying how they’ve confirmed the release of Battlefield 4, I’m not complaining about the reveal as I’m a massive fan of the series, but with the way the reveal has been used to promote another game just to drive pre-orders just seems a bit foolish.

They could’ve had far more exposure further into the year when they actually had more details like screen shots or maybe a even a trailer, just letting people know like this ruins it for the Die Hard fans that want to know everything about the game.

But aside from the sudden announcement what we now want to know is “Will the beta be on the current generation of consoles or not?”

What do you think?

Born and raised in Coventry City UK, Matthew has been typing longer than he's been writing and the internet has become his playground. Having a penchant for the darker side of literature and mythology, Matthew satisfied his curiosity by devouring almost every book and article on ancient civilizations and Gods he could get his ink stained little hands on. This interest in the esoteric eventually led Matt into Comics, first with Neil Gaiman's fantastic Sandman series and eventually into becoming a living encyclopedia on all things DCU. These days you can find this keyboard warrior utilizing his insane skills as an elite sniper on Battlefield 3, listening to the cries of noobs as they run into his patient sights.
