Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO to go for the bargain price of… FREE!

August 3rd, 2012 by Owen Quinn Comments

One of the biggest things in Star Wars right now and the new price is most pleasing…

Star Wars the Old Republic will be offered to players as a free to play option coming this year from Bioware.
Although there will be restrictions to new features and content, players will be able to access all eight characters across 50 levels.

The higher levels will be available to people with higher subscriptions or anyone who make individual payments which will allow them access to everything.

As we understand it, a currency will be introduced to help you along by buying specific content or weapons etc to help you along called Cartel Coins.
In August the game will be available for $14.99 with a one month subscription. Depending how long the Cartel Coins are available hasn’t been made clear yet but this is a great idea for occasional gamers like me who dip in and out of games.

He has an unhealthy interest in Doctor Who, classic TV and Star Wars, he also hangs around with the Emerald Garrison far toooo much. Is it any wonder he fits in at FTN so well? Find Owen at the
