When it was revealed that a new Suicide Squad game was coming from Rockstar Games (here), many believed it was the rumoured new Arkham game, but it seems the nerdy Bat-gods have blessed us twice as a new Arkham game has been revealed.
The new game is called Batman: Gotham Knights and we’ll know a lot more soon… on the 22nd of this month, in fact. Which also happens to be DC Fandome (here).
You may recall that as far back as last September (here) and then January this year (here) people were confident that not only were we getting a new Arkham game, but it would likely feature the Court of Owls story and now it looks like this is indeed the case.
WB Games Montreal has given us a tease (Tweets below) following the Arkham City and Arkham Origins that tomorrow – August 18th at 11am ET – we’ll get a bit more information on the news game ahead of it’s big reveal at DC Fandome.
In the Court of Owls story Batman discovers an ancient order of wealthy people who have secretly been running Gotham City for centuries – and further a field – and, being the hero of the city, he puts himself between them. It’s an epic story and would be a great concept for a game as Batman fights their deadly assassin, the Talons.

While the morse code in the tweets translates to MW# I have no clue at the moment what that means, but the “We’ve Been Expecting You” in the second teaser is counting down until tomorrow, so let’s buckle in and see where it all goes.
Anyone excited for Batman taking on the Court of Owls in the Arkham universe? I’m hearing rumours this will be a soft reboot of the Arkham games and I can’t wait to see who the Gotham Knights alludes to.
See you tomorrow for (hopefully) new details…
UPDATED:
Ok, so next day, here’s what we got.
A new official website for us to try to crack here… We have been expecting you? More on that in a second.

And is there a hint at Batwoman and Two-Face?
If you got to the website above and enter the code 941 you get the following look at the game map:
And while the screen is loading, you briefly see this:
And, at the same time, the r3dakt3d twitter account posted this:

When deciphered it reads: The Truth Has Been Deciphered.
On top of that, it seems that a new code, when combined with the others, points to Barbera Gordon AKA Batgirl appearing in the game.
This may be just a coincidence, but if you put all the codes together to unlock the four teasers from https://t.co/z8Gh4nZYAh, you get "761941364995", which is the EAN number for Detective Comics #359, the debut of Batgirl.
