Xbox One doesn’t come with a headset!

June 27th, 2013 by Stuart Miller Comments

Microsoft have confirmed that when you buy your new shiny Xbox One console a headset will not be present in the box; this is down to the fact that you get a kinect unit instead.

A spokesperson for Microsoft said: “Xbox One does not include a pack-in headset accessory.

“Each Xbox One includes the new Kinect sensor, with a highly sensitive multi-array microphones designed to enable voice inputs and chat as a system-level capability, both in-game and with Skype and other experiences. For gamers who prefer a headset, we have a variety of offerings that you can find on the Xbox Wire.”

Gamers were wondering whether the console would come with a headset in the box as the high end 360 models do however this is not the case.

If  you do want a headset then Microsoft has announced that an official one will be on sale from day one that will be much more improved over the original headset.
