FIRST LOOK: Wolverine Vs Predator this September and this could be a whole lot of fun

August 19th, 2023 by Marc Comments

Back in 2021, after Disney acquired Fox and all its IPs, many fans wondered if we’d see the Aliens and/or Predator cross into the Marvel universe, especially when we got a series of cool covers that saw some of Marvel’s biggest stars take on the vicious Predators (here), but no, we were assured that the covers, while fun, were not indicating some big event in the future.

However, now, it seems that’s simply not the case anymore as they’ve announced that Wolverine will take on the Predator and, I’ll be honest, I’m not even mad because, if written well, this could be a heck of a lot of fun.

Back in 1991 Batman took in the Predator (and there was two sequels over the years) and it was genuinely one of the best Batman adventures I’ve ever read, so if this can even come close, then I’m all in.

Anyways, check out some of the artwork below and see you all in the comic shop in September [although, to be honest, I might just hold out for the collected edition because I’m old now].

Guardians of the Galaxy V Aliens next, surely?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
