The Following the Nerd Podcast Ep 118 – “That was not my first kiss since 1945. I’m 95, I’m not dead.”

January 19th, 2015 by Marc Comments

Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Following the Nerd Show.

This show was recorded live on Thursday, Jan 15th, 2015.

On the show this week we have a lot of DC movie and TV news as Gotham resurrects more classic characters and The Flash and Arrow continue their campaign of world domination…

We also have a few bits and pieces from the MCU as rumours insist that Spider-man is coming home.

In other news, has Melissa McCarthy entered talks for Ghostbusters 3? Will Snake Plissken return? And remember those crazy Sony hacker stories about Men in Black and the Jump Street movies crossing over? Well, not that crazy it seems…

In TV news, AMC plan a series without zombies. Mad, huh?

Oh, and can you guess what item from Back to the Future 2 is coming for real this year? Well, we’ll tell you soon.

As always, your host is Marc and with him once more is the Lisburn legend, the toy master himself, the oncoming storm, they call him the man with the pencil-line beard, he calls himself Stephen but we call him… Saxon

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
